3444418 - Unable to Close Open Tasks Assigned to the Users Left the Organization

The notification task is being created for an user that is no longer in the company, however even though they forward this task and completed with another user, the task remains open in the Open Task on Purchase Orders view.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center
2. Select Purchase Orders view
3. Filter for Open Tasks

See several task with the subject: Notification: Delivered Quantity Adjusted for Purchase Order ABC with Return to Supplier

Typically, this type of task is automatically assigned to the individual responsible for the Purchase Order.

When the individual is no longer employed with the company, manual allocation of the task is necessary. It is the standard system behaviour and it is designed to function in this manner for such situations.
