3444626 - Error "Party Seller with ID ABC not contractually capable" in Purchase Order

When trying to post a new Purchase Order (123) for a specific Supplier (ABC), the mentioned error message shows up.

You have created the Purchase Order 123 with the Supplier ABC

Upon clicking "Check", this error message pops up:

"Party Seller with ID ABC not contractually capable"

You are using the field "Legal Competence" in the Supplier ABC Master Data but the field is not ticked.

Suppliers View

Search, Open and View All the Supplier ABC

Under General Tab > Details Sub-Tab, tick the field "Legal Competence" & Save

After doing so, the mentioned error message in Purchase Order 123 should not occur anymore.
