3444804 - How to enable logging of HTTP Headers and Cookie Data in Apache Tomcat

Symptom

  • It is required to log HTTP request Headers and Cookies in Tomcat to investigate Authentication or Deployment related issues with BI Platform.
  • This may be required in the rare case when it is not possible to view HTTP Headers and Cookies using web browser Developer tools, due to security constraints.

This issue strictly falls outside the scope of SAP Support because it concerns the functionality of Apache Tomcat, which is an open-source third party software.
