Symptom

Function module CONVERSION_EXIT_SDATE_INPUT is used in transfer routine in transformation. 

By testing DTP, it works correctly. However when executing the DTP in process chain, it returns blank value. 

Or: 

You are directly testing the function module CONVERSION_EXIT_SDATE_INPUT in TCode se37. 

It returns blank value instead of correct date.
