Symptom
When candidates are imported using the Mass Import functionality in Manage Employees, their OnboardingCandidateInfo (OCI) objects are not created.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to Manage Employees and use the Mass Import functionality to import candidates.
- Initiate the Onboarding process for the imported candidates.
- Observe that OnboardingCandidateInfo (OCI) objects are not created for the imported candidates.
Cause
The Enable External ATS-ONB-EC Integration feature is not enabled in Provisioning. This feature is required for OCI objects to be created when candidates are imported through Mass Import or when the Onboarding process is initiated for them.
Resolution
NOTE: The steps below require access to Provisioning, which is restricted to implementation partners and consultants. Live customers should engage their implementation partner or open an SAP support case.
For Live Customer(s)
Contact your implementation partner or SAP Support to enable the Enable External ATS-ONB-EC Integration feature in Provisioning.
For Implementation Partner(s) and Consultant(s)
- Log in to the Provisioning system.
- Select the company and navigate to Onboarding 1.0 settings.
- Locate the Enable External ATS-ONB-EC Integration feature and enable it.
- Save the changes.
- Re-import candidates using Mass Import and confirm that OCI objects are now created successfully.
