You are receiving error message like "Incomplete product synced from SAP product configuration cannot be added to the quote. Please configure the product and try again" while adding a Variant Configuration product via Catalog page or via the Add Items option on the quote page.

This error occurs if the Variant configuration product is not configured before adding to the quote.

• It is recommended to configure the VC products before adding them to quotes, as this is an expected behavior.
• Also, enabling the "Allow adding incomplete items" parameter on the User Type page does not affect the variant configuration products.
