Symptom
The customer configured a SAP NetWeaver DBCON (multiconnect) connection to an external 'Babelfish for Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL' database which runs on a server other than the SAP NetWeaver host.
In DBACockpit, testing the Database Connection in DBCON or in SE38, by executing report ADBC_TEST_CONNECTION, returns following error message:
ERROR Database connection BABELFISH: ADBC error ‘Internal error 1 has occurred’
The developer trace of the work process involved in the DBCON connection indicates:
Connect to BABELFISH as xxxxxxx with OBJECT_SOURCE=SAPMonitor MSSQL_SERVER=xxxx MSSQL_DBNAME=xxxx
Connection 0 failed using Driver={ODBC Driver 11 for SQL Server};Server=xxxx-babelfish.xxxx; ...
***LOG BY2=> sql error 0 performing CON [dbds ]
***LOG BY0=> <message text not available> [dbds ][ dbds ]
Executing following queries on the DBCON target database return following information:

select SERVERPROPERTY ( 'edition' )
select SERVERPROPERTY ( 'collation' )
