3445348 - Changes in Fields Names are Not Carried Out to Sales Order Reports

Symptom

You notice that after renaming the fields in the Sales Order documents through the Personalization Mode, the changes are not being carried out to the Sales Order Volume report.

Reproducing the Issue

In the example below we will demonstrate the scenario changing the Requested Date field to XYZ through the Personalization mode.

  1. Go to the Sales Order Work Center.
  2. Go to the Sales Orders View.
  3. Filter for All Orders.
  4. Open any Sales Order document.
  5. Select View All.
  6. Navigate to the Items tab.
  7. Select the User Icon.
  8. In the dropdown, select Start Personalization mode.
  9. In the Personalization column, select the arrow in the Products section.
  10. Right Click on the Requested Date.
  11. In the text box, enter XYZ.
  12. In the Personalization column, select Save button.

The field 'Request Date' will be renamed to XYZ in all Sales Order documents.

  1. Go to the Business Analytics Work Center.
  2. Go to the Design Reports View.
  3. Search for the Report CRMSLOIB_Q0001 (Sales Order Volume).
  4. Open.
  5. Add the field Requested Date to the report.

The field name is displayed as "Requested Date" instead XYZ.

Cause

When field names are changed at document level or OWL level through the Personalization mode, this changes will not be carried out to any Sales Order report.

Resolution

This is a standard system behavior.
