3445448 - The option to create screen variant greyed out

Symptom

In app "Create Outgoing Invoices" (FB70) and "Create Incoming Invoices" (FB60), the option "Create Screen Variant" is disabled.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to app "Create Outgoing Invoices" or "Create Incoming Invoices".
  2. Click on Menu -> Edit -> Screen Variant -> Create Screen Variant.

Cause

The functionality of creating a screen variant is restricted in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition due to technical reasons.

Resolution

Select a pre-defined screen variant delivered by SAP instead.
