3445549 - SAP Cloud Connector error message in CPI: - "Expose the function module in your Cloud Connector in case it was a valid request"

Symptom

  • For the following message flow CPI -> SCC -> S4HANA (ERP), the Cloud Connector uses RFC connection to connect with S4HANA. While triggering a request from the CPI Integration Flow (Iflow) following error message was encountered at the CPI end: - 
    "Expose the function module in your Cloud Connector in case it was a valid request."
  • Further in the Cloud Connector ljs_trace.log (<2.17) or scc_core.trc (>=2.17) log file, following entries can be found:  
    #INFO#com.sap.scc.protocol.rfc#RfcPool_1_Thread_32#0xa250c7bc#Denying request for resource BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT on <host>:sapgwXX.
