Symptom
The Time Account Balances for one or multiple employees and a specific time type are not calculated, although all settings seem to be correct and a posting order is maintained.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Time Administration work center
- Go to Employees view
- Select relevant employee
- Go to Employee Times tab
- Find time records with affected time type
- Go to Time Account Balances tab
- Find associated time account without any of the above mentioned times being reflected
Resolution
The situation might be caused by the following issue: A special posting order is maintained. However, the posting order start date is a date that is subsequent to the date of the first time recording. E.g., times are recorded on 01.01.2023, and the start date is 01.01.2024. Hence, the posting order is not working as expected and does not consider the times

Correct the posting order start date to a date before the time of the first time recording. Afterwards, perform a correction day closure run for the affected employees, with a start early enough to include the affected times.
