SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

3445935 - Error: "Invalid Configuration Location" appears when trying to launch the Information Design Tool (IDT) after upgrade to SAP BO 4.3.

Symptom

  • On start-up, Information Design Tool (IDT) displays error dialog box "Invalid Configuration Location".
  • The configuration area at "<Install Dir>\SAP BusinessObjects\config\.businessobjects\biomodeler_14\config" could not be created. Please choose a writable location using the '-configuration' command line option.
  • Other Client tools are working fine.
