3446067 - Character in Codice Fiscale Number does not match the last name

When modifying the Codice Fiscale Number of an employee, the system throw an error "Character ABC in Codice Fiscale Number does not match the last name XYZ"

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Personnel Administration -> Employee
2. Search for Employee XYZ and open the personnel file
3. Click Edit
4. In the field Codice Fiscale Number, input the code like ABC123456789
5. Click Save

The system cannot detect the special characters in the employee's last name.

This is an expected system behavior. For Codice Fiscale Number, the first three letters will be the first three consonant letters of the employee's last name. However, the system cannot detect special characters. If an employee's last name include special character in the the first three consonant letters, the system will regard the special character as a consonant letter.

For example, if the last name is X'YZ, for the system, the first three consonant letters will be X'Y while it should be XYZ. In this case, remove the special character will resolve this issue.
