You are trying to search some Supplier Invoices (SIV) or Credit Memos (CM) based on a specific General Ledger (GL).

Open the extended filter and search the General Ledger (in field G/L Account) 12345678900 (this number is an example).

Click Go: the mentioned error message shows up.

Under this view, the system will not be able to search any SIV or CM based on a GL account which contains more than 10 characters.

Also, when searching using the G/L Account field, the system will propose only the Account Determination Group for General Expenses (the GL Alias), and not the General Expense itself.

Upon the creation of the Account Determination Group for General Expenses, no more than 10 characters should be used to avoid this issue.

You can alternatively use a report to search for SIV's or CM's based on a specific GL.
