Symptom

Error Message "Solve Configuration issue in code list mapping for field "ProductGroupID" when Replicating Material to C4C.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Administrator work center.
  2. Go to the General Setting work center view.
  3. Open the Web Service Message Monitoring under System Administration.
  4. Select query Erroneous.
  5. Search for message ID with error "Solve Configuration issue in code list mapping for field ProductGroupID".

Cause

The error is caused by the absence of a code list mapping for the material group ID.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Open the view Implementation Projects.
  3. Find and select the relevant Project.
  4. Open Activity List.
  5. Find and open the activity "Code List Mapping for Integration with External Applications and Solutions".
  6. Click the hyperlink Maintain Code List Mapping.
  7. Find the Local Data Type ProductGroupID with help of filtering.
  8. Select the relevant Mapping Rule.
  9. In the bottom table, maintain mapping.
  10. Once the Code List Mappings are maintained and active the implementation projects, restart the failed messages.
