3446560 - RSBCS_REORG for SOFFCONT1 does not reduce table size on disk

You run the report RSBCS_REORG to delete information from the table SOFFCONT1 as per 1634908 - Reduce the number of entries of table SOFFCONT1, and the number of entries has decreased, but the size of the table on disk appears to remain unchanged.

You have tried to perform a manual delta merge and data volume reclaim as per:

SQL1:
MERGE DELTA OF "SOFFCONT1" FORCE REBUILD;

SQL2: 
UPDATE "SOFFCONT1" WITH PARAMETERS ('OPTIMIZE_COMPRESSION' = 'FORCE');

SQL:
ALTER SYSTEM RECLAIM DATAVOLUME 120 DEFRAGMENT; 

but the size of the table appears to remain unchanged.
