3446692 - Error VL295 "Dlv. type (dlv. catgry RL for mat. &1 and BWART 122) cannot be determined" - SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Below error message occurs when creating return delivery with APP Post Goods Movement (APP ID MIGO) reference goods reciept material document. Target movement type for the return delivery is 122.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Create Purchase Order.
2. Create Inbound Delivery.
3. Post GR for the Inbound Delivery with APP Post Goods Movement (APP ID MIGO), material document is created with movement type 101.
4. Go to APP Post Goods Movement, Select Return Delivery -> Material document. Enter material document at the step 4.
5. Set the flag "Via Delivery" and tick "OK".
6. Click "Post". Error message occurs.

This requested process movement type 122 with return delivery is only possible when there is warehouse involved (either EWM or 3rd Party WMS system). Scope Item BKP introduce the process of return delivery with warehouse.

It is possible create another Purchase Order with "Return" flag at item level and create return delivery with movement type 161.
