3446775 - An application error occurred after clicking "Submit" button in "Manage Pending Hires" for candidate - Onboarding

After clicking "Submit" button in "Manage Pending Hires" for candidate, there is an application error.

"An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support (with the error information of errorId=xxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxx-xxx, timestamp=xxxxxxxxxxx, and the version information from the current screen) if the issue keeps occurring."

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. In "Manage Pending hires" page of one candidate
2. Click "Submit" button
3. An application error occurred: "An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support (with the error information of errorId=xxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxx-xxx, timestamp=xxxxxxxxxxx, and the version information from the current screen) if the issue keeps occurring."

This issue can be caused by several reasons. One of the reasons is that this candidate has two job information records. This results in a conflict when saving data.

Step1: Identify duplicate job information

1. Go to "Data Inspector"
2. Find "Table_EMP_JOB_INFO_T"
3. Search by "User Sys Id=xxxxxx" (Please use user id to search)
4. You will find there are two Job information records for the candidate

Step2: Remove job information manually in MPH. Or use KBA 2317955 to remove the duplicate job information. 

Please note: If there is only one job information record here, then please create a ticket to the support team and provide the error id, the support team will use the error id to look up the error log for you in the backend.
