'The steps cannot be loaded. Please try again later' error is raised in the approval details of Manage Purchase Requisitions - Professional app.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Open app Manage Purchase Requisition- Professional app.
2. Select the created Purchase Requisition
3. Go to the approval details tab of the PR.

No active workflows in Manage Workflows for Purchase Requisitions app.

This requires a corresponding 'active' workflow procedure. You have to configure a supporting workflow or at a minimum activate the 'Automatic release of Purchase Requisitions'. This is done via the APP 'Manage Workflows for Purchase Requisitions'.
