3447107 - How Geolocation Functionality Works

You have questions about how Geolocation functionally works on the system and what data it's accessing.

> How does it work?

The location is used only for the purpose of accessing map according to the terms and conditions of corresponding map used.

> When does it activate?

Once user gives permission to use the location by the system. Then the location is used for specific functionalities of the map.  

> What data is tracked?

SAP does not save any data of user; except the fact we may convey business data of yours to the map service like addresses used which are necessary to lot map points.

> Is the location saved in the system?

No.

> Is it possible to view this data in reports?

No, data is being saved by the system except the ones which user operates like saving address or finding routes.
