3447115 - App could not be opened on Fiori Launchpad - due to mandatory parameter not specified in tile configuration

Symptom

  • Symptom 1: When attempting to open a Fiori Application which has Target Mapping containing mandatory parameter value but the Tile configuration do not contain that mandatory parameter value, below error occurs:

    ~~~Error~~~~~
    App could not be opened either due to an incorrect SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration or a missing role assignment.
    Failed to resolve navigation target "#<SemanticObject>-<Action>". This is most likely caused by an incorrect SAP Fiori launchpad content configuration or by a missing role assignment.
    ~~~End Error~~~
  • Symptom 2: The second issue could be that the saved and modified Fiori Launchpad configured parameters disappeared after deploying in the environment
    • This particular symptom work initially (i.e., the parameters exist); however, it may show in the deployed environment only after a few days being deployed wherein the parameters configured in the Fiori Launchpad designer or manager disappeared.
