3447163 - Sales Quote Approval Note Disappears

After adding an Approval Note within the Sales Quote and refresh it, the note disappears. 

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Sales Workcenter.
2. Go to Sales Quotes view.
3. Open any Sales Quote. 
4. Go to Approval facet.
5. Add a Note.
6. Save it.
7. Refresh the Sales Quote after a minute.
8. You will see that the Note disappears. 

As per the current behavior in SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C), when a Sales Quote is submitted and bidirectional synchronization is enabled, the approval notes associated with the quote are not saved.

When you submit a quote for approval with bidirectional sync enabled, that note stays with the approval workflow and is not saved as a permanent field on the Sales Quote. 

Approval Notes Are Workflow-Specific:

• Approval Notes are part of the approval workflow context, not the core Sales Quote data model.
• They are intended to capture temporary approval-related comments during the approval process.
• These notes are not persisted as long-term transactional data in the Sales Quote object.

This behavior is expected within the context of bidirectional synchronization in C4C.
