While implementing Group Reporting, user maintains (source) item B/S clearing to be carried forward to retained earnings item in configuration step SAP S/4HANA for Group Reporting > Consolidation FS Items Configuration > Specify FS Items to be Carried Forward (t-code CXS3). However, after running balance carryforward and ANI calculation in new year, there is an imbalance reported by ANI calculation.
