3447580 - Screen freezes while creating notes in a Service Order - S/4HANA Cloud CE2402

Symptom

When adding a note within the timeline tab of a Service Order, the screen hangs when saving the note meaning it is necessary for the user to continue with the Service Order processing. 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2402

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Manage Service Order App.
  2. Click go.
  3. Select a record.
  4. The screen will now split in half, on the left side it will show the total Service Order and on the right the Service Order you have selected.
  5. On the selected Service Order go to the timeline tab.
  6. On Requested end click add note.
  7. Click submit.
  8. The screen now proceeds to hang. 
  9. If the screen is refreshed the Service Order will show the note has been added and the save has worked.

Cause

Coding issue. 

Resolution

The fix is planned* to be implemented by the third week of April with HFC07.
