Error message FAA_CFG_CHECK142 - 'Ledger &2 defined in CoCd &1 is not active in Asset Accounting' appears when posting acquisition value to fixed assets.

The prerequisite steps for ledger &2 have not been performed in the system.

SAP Central Business Configuration:

1. Log on to the project experience in SAP Central Business Configuration.
2. In the Product-Specific Configuration phase, navigate to the Configuration Activities tab. To locate the activity in the tree view, search for the Assign Accounting Principles to Ledgers and Company Codes (103556) activity.
3. Choose Open Documentation for the found line item to see more details about this configuration activity.
4. Choose the link to navigate directly to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system. Log on to the SAP Fiori launchpad as a Configuration Expert - Business Process Configuration.
5. Assign accounting principle to ledger 4G/company codes.

Please mention that:

Any postings in the related company code will necessitate a data reset before changing the settings for ledger 4G. For further details regarding the deletion of transaction data, refer to Reset Transaction Data | SAP Help Portal. If material ledger postings exist, they will need to be booked out. All affected materials must have stock = 0 to ensure that the material and accounting ledgers remain synchronized.
