3447871 - Issues caused by incorrect Drools Rule status

If one published promotion rule is associated with multiple versions of drools rules that are in Active=True and CurrentVersion=True status, the following unexpected symptoms will occur:

1. After undeploying the promotion rule and making its status changed to "Inactive":

• Issue: When attempting to add a product that qualifies for this promotion, there is no response from the storefront and the product cannot be added to the cart.
• Expected Behavior: After clicking "add to cart," the product should be successfully added to the cart without applying the promotion rule.

2. When the promotion rule is in "Published" status, but the Scheduled End Date is in the past:

• Issue: The promotion rule is still applied after adding a product that qualifies for this promotion into the cart.
• Expected Behavior: The promotion rule should not be applied to the cart as the Scheduled End Date has passed.
