3448052 - Unable to delete model from SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Unable to delete model from files in SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Receiving error message when trying to delete model: "the selected file is used by other files and cannot be deleted".
• In Modeler view it is mentioned that the model is used in Private Files.

SAP Analytics Cloud Enterprise

1. Login to SAC.
2. Go to files.
3. Search for model.
4. Try to delete model.
5. Deletion fails with Error message: "the selected file is used by other files and cannot be deleted".

The model has dependencies to other objects.

1. Go to System>Overview.
2. Click on "Search for.. Objects".
3. Go to Planning (or Analytic) Model.
4. Search for model name.
5. Select the model and click on Fact Sheet.
6. Go to Dependencies>Stories.
7. Find all stories using the model.
8. To be able to delete the model, its dependencies should be deleted first.
