3448344 - Error "No currency key was passed; no conversion was performed" & "No sales area could be determined"  When Request External Pricing

When requesting external of a Sales Quote or Order, you received the error messages:

(ABCCLN123) No currency key was passed; no conversion was performed

(ABCCLN123) No sales area could be determined

Where (ABCCLN123) means the External System ID.

 

 

 

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Go to the Sales Order work center view.
3. Search and open a Sales Order.
4. Click on Actions > Simulate.

Error is raised:

(ABCCLN123) No currency key was passed; no conversion was performed

(ABCCLN123) No sales area could be determined

The root cause of the issue is due to the duplicate ID Mappings for the Sales Area assigned to the Sales Document. It can be duplicate ID Mapping for Sales Unit, Sales Organization and so on.

Seeking to resolve the error, you need to ensure only one ID Mapping is going to be defined for the respective sales area. For that, you may do the following;

1. Select the Administrator work center.
2. Select ID Mapping For Integration work center view.
3. Click Edit ID Mapping for Integration.
4. Select the relevant System Instance ID.
5. Select the Relevant Organizational Centre ID.
6. Input the Internal Value in the ID Field.
7. Amend Accordingly.

Also, you can use Data Workbench for doing so performing these steps:

1. Go to Data Workbench work center.
2. Select Export view.
3. Select object as Object Identifier Mapping.
4. Filter the mapping.
5. Click Next.
6. Click Export Data.
7. Download the file from Monitor.
8. Open the file.
9. Add a column "ToBeDeleted" to the end of the row.
10. Enter value "TRUE" to the column "ToBeDeleted".
11. Now perform an update by going to Import view.
12. Select Individual Object and Update.
13. Select object as Object Identifier Mapping.
14. Upload the edited file and then update.
