Symptom
The maximum password length allowed for type G RFC destinations depends on the current SAP Basis and/or Kernel version and Patch Level. When you try to save an HTTP Type G RFC destination with a password longer than the maximum allowed, the message below is raised in a pop-up:
- Cannot save HTTP Destination: Password is too long
