Top reasons why candidate initiated from RCM is not visible on the Onboarding dashboard.
- Error message: View user validation errors for XXX (XXX) for Onboarding process trigger XXX
- Error message: The user who is configured as the recruiting manager is associated with the value XXXXX that does not exist. To proceed, review the Recruit to Hire mapping and make any necessary corrections.

Reproducing the Issue
- Initiate onboarding for the candidate from RCM
- Search for the candidate on the onboarding dashboard but the candidate is disappear
Resolution
How to troubleshot the issue:
- Log in as the user who is in SAP_ONB2_ErrorFlowAdmins dynamic group.
- On the Homepage, click on To-Do icon on the upper right corner.
- Click on the Business Process To-Do.
- Check if any error message is present.
Common issues:
There are multiple possible causes for candidate initiated from RCM is not visible on the Onboarding dashboard. Below we will go through the most common scenarios.
A. Missing Picklist ecEmailType which has not been configured in Picklist Centre.
Refer to the following details to configure the picklist ecEmailType.

B. The primary email provided is in wrong format so the username is considered as invalid.
Please refer to the KBA 3237843 - Candidate not appearing in Onboarding dashboard - user name provided is considered as Invalid – Onboarding
C. Missing mandatory values
All the mandatory fields maintained in Recruit to Hire Data Mapping should be passed from Recruiting. Please update mandatory fields in RCM.
Once the values are maintained, please restart the task from Business Process Tile, referring to the KBA 3242790 - Onboarding initiated from RCM but candidate didn't reach Onboarding Dashboard - Onboarding
Here are some fields with specific requirements:
- Pay component values
Please refer to the KBA 3242790 - Candidate not appearing in Onboarding dashboard - Pay component Values not passing from RCM to Onboarding – Onboarding - nationalIdCard related fields
If the value of nationalIdCard.isPrimary is true, it is necessary to pass all nationalIdCard related fields values. Null value for nationalIdCard related fields are not accepted.

D. The missing candidates are already hired. There is an archive rule to remove the onboarding process.
E. Manager ID passed from RCM to ONB is an inactive user.
Business process error: "The user who is configured as the recruiting manager is associated with the value XXXXX that does not exist. To proceed, review the Recruit to Hire mapping and make any necessary corrections."
Please check the Data Inspector and Employee Profile to see if the user is inactive in the system. Maintain an active user as the Recruiting Manager for the requisition.
