Symptom
Error messages occur when trying to manually create a New Production Order for a product: 'Production model for Product ID ABC (ABC refers to the Product ID) on Date DD.MM.YYYY for quantity XXX (XXX refers to the number of Quantity) not found. Creation of production order not possible.'

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Production Control workcenter.
- Choose Production Orders view.
- Click New button.
- Fulfilled fields Product, Site, Quantity, UoM and Requested End date.
- Click Refresh button, then error occurs.
Cause
Pre-check:
Note 1 : The quantity A (for example: 99 ea) that is planning to be produced is less or equal to the quantity of the Maximum Lot Size B (for example: 100 ea) in the relevant Released Production Model.
Note 2: The system behaves in this manner when the planning procedure in the Material Master is Manual Planning or Empty. The behavior will change based on the Lot-Sizing Method used in planning procedure Demand-Driven Planning or Consumption-Based Planning on case to case basis.
The whole production process for output Product ID ABC with quantity XXX will not finish before the request end date DD.MM.YYYY.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, when creating the production order, choose a later end time to make sure that the output product can be completely produced at that time, like DD+n.MM.YYYY.
