3449235 - How to change the Employment status in the Manage Workforce app?

Unable to set the employment status of a work agreement to Active or Inactive in the Manage Workforce app.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Manage Workforce application
2. Access the details of an existing worker
3. Click "Edit" button
4. Select the work agreement that needs to have the employment status updated
5. The 'Status' field cannot be updated

Status field cannot be modified directly in the Manage Workforce app.

Employment status is derived from the "valid from" and "valid to" dates.  They need to be changed from the source system.

For example: If the entry source is via Excel Import, then there is the 'WorkAgreementStatus' field in the template. Don't pass the inactive time split period with employment status Zero (=0), only pass the active time slice with the correct end date, the Inactive Status period will be automatically set by the system.

Please keep in mind that the inactive Status period will not be visible in Manage Workforce, but that is the correct system behaviour.
