Symptom
- The error message "Export failed: Unable to retrieve data" would appear when exporting chart as CSV file in a story based on the live data connection to BW system in SAC
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud 2024.2.16
Reproducing the Issue
- Log on to SAC
- Create a story based on the live data connection to BW models
- Insert a chart into this story and make sure this chart contains blending BW models
- Click on the three dot graph button beside this chart and select Export
- On this "Export as CSV" panel, leave export settings as default and click on OK directly
=> Observe that error message "Export failed: Unable to retrieve data" would appear
Cause
- The issue is caused by a defect in the product.
Resolution
This issue has been addressed in version 2024.15.
