Symptom

Not able to add Custom Field in apps Create/Change/Display Material (MM01/MM02/MM03)

Environment

SAP S/4HANA CLoud Public Edition

Cause

Standard Behaviour.

Resolution

The Apps Create Material / Change Material / Display Material don't currently support the addition of custom fields.

Use App Manage Product Master Data to use Extensibility.

Check the online documentation at the link below and section 'Feature Comparison for Apps in Product Master'

The Data Source  RFM_PRODUCT_GUI that is enabled is for the Retails apps in S/4HANA Cloud
