3450082 - Get error message DMC_RT_MSG220 when migrating inspection plan into the system

You are using the Migration Cockpit to migrate inspection plans into the system. At the preparing staging table step, you get the error message DMC_RT_MSG220:
The exception was raised in include /1LT/LCM4100000000000013FI4 - line 3454

The root cause of the error is that the quantitative data for the characteristics is not properly maintained.
There is a "Decimal Places" field in the Characteristic sheet of the migration template. According to the Migration Object Documentation:

In this field, you define the accuracy (number of decimal places), to which the value is calculated. The value range of decimal places is from 0 to 10.
When you enter one of the following limiting values, it must match the decimal places specified in the Decimal Places field.

• Target Value
• Lower Specification Limit
• Upper Specification Limit
• Lower Plausibility Limit
• Upper Plausibility Limit
• Class Width
• Class Midpoint
• 1st Lower Limit
• 1st Upper Limit
• 2nd Lower Limit
• 2nd Lower Limit

If the decimal places of these fields don't match (be more than) the one you maintained in the "Decimal Places" field, the conversion in the backend will fail and you will get the error message.

Please check your tamplate and make sure all the relevant fields have a correct decimal places.
