3450297 - Unable to delete a public dimension from the planning model in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Unable to delete the public dimension from a planning model.
• Delete button is grayed out with following notes when hovered over the button : 
  The model was already saved with this dimension.
  Not available for models with account structure.
  The model contains facts. This action is allowed only for empty models.
  The model has private versions. This action is allowed only for models without private versions.
  The model is already used.
  Allowed only when no Allocation Processes exist.
  Allowed only when no Allocation Steps exist. 

SAP Analytics Cloud
Connection - Import connection to SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) system

1. Login to SAC.
2. Open the model.
3. Select the public dimension from the list that has to be deleted.

Notice that the delete button is grayed out.

First delete all Allocation Steps and Processes that are referenced by the model. After completing this step, you should be able to delete the public dimension
