3450474 - Billing status of sales document item with periodic billing plan

Symptom

After creating a sales document with item category that has billing relevance customized as 'Order-relevant billing - billing plan' (VBAP-FKREL='I') using periodic billing, the 'Billing status for order-related billing documents' at item level (VBUP/VBAP-FKSAA) is not getting 'C' (Completed) value even if the item is completely invoiced and the billing status of the billing plan (FPLT-FKSAF) is also 'C' (Completed).
This prevents the completion of the overall status of the item and thus the whole sales document.
