3450509 - CI-DS Agent installation on Azure fails with Shared Memory error - SQL Anywhere

Symptom

The following errors are encountered when trying to install the Cloud Integration for data services (CI-DS) Agent on Azure:

  • Output : SQL error (-832) -- Connection error: An error occurred during the SharedMemory connection attempt
    Database "./dsod_agent_repo.db" not created
  •  ERROR: Failed to initialize the internal database.
  •  ERROR: Failed to create the event to purge the SQLA database log files.
  •  ERROR: An error occurred during repository creation.
