3450543 - Custom Task External Code of Generic Object is Visible - Onboarding

ONB Custom Task picklist is showing the external codes for generic object in the dropdown.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Go to Onboarding Dashboard
2. Search candidate and access the Custom Task from the New Hire Tasks
3. Start the task, if this task is already in completed status then click View Details and Edit Task
4. You will see that in the dropdown, all options are showing their external code

• This is currently a product limitation in onboarding. It's not possible to hide external codes for custom tasks.
• Picklist do not show external codes and currently there is no way to make configure it to be visible on UI.
• Generic objects does show label and externalCode both as of now.

This is a product limitation in the current Onboarding Feature.

• At present, it is not possible to hide external codes.
