3450673 - Unable to replicate employee data with the error "Enter bank control key"

Symptom

When replicating Employee information from source system to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud System , an error related to bank information appears .

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Try to replicate the Worker Data from the Source system to Target System.
  2. Error encountered "Enter bank control key".

Cause

The checkbox 'Bank Data' has been ticked in the area 'Further Checks' for SSCUI 102592- Set Country Specific Checks. If 'Bank Data' has been ticked, it is necessary to maintain Bank control key and Bank number as per standard. 

Resolution

Either send a value in the field Control Key each time for all bank details, to meet the validation criteria on the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud side or deactivate the validation check, which actually does consist of the control key check only.

Follow below steps for checking the Bank Data in Manage Your Solution' app:

  1. Open 'Manage Your Solution' app.
  2. Navigate to 'Configure Your Solution'. 
  3. Search for the ID '102592'.
  4. Choose configuration activity '102592- Set Country Specific Checks'. 
  5. Display & select the relevant country.
  6. Check in the Further Checks section if the checkbox "Bank Data" is checked or not.

In case while using SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) :

  1. Log on to the project experience in SAP Central Business Configuration.
  2. Select the relevant project.
  3. Navigate to the configurations activity tab.
  4. Search for the configuration activity '102592- Set Country Specific Checks'.
  5. Select the configuration activity to navigate directly to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system.
  6. Display & select the relevant country.
  7. Check in the Further Checks section if the checkbox "Bank Data" is checked or not.
