3450698 - Error message 00977 happens when executing t-code WSE4 in S/4HANA system.

Symptom

  • When executing transaction code WSE4 in S/4HANA system, system issues error 00977 "Transaction WSE4 cannot be executed (SAP Note 2476734)"
  • Run program RWSORT44 (program of t-code WSE4) in t-code SE38, a dump happens:
        Category               ABAP programming error
        Runtime Errors         SYSTEM_ABAP_ACCESS_DENIED
        ABAP Program           RWSORT44
        Application Component  LO-RFM-MD-LST
  • The same error also happens to other WSE* transaction codes, e.g., WSE2, WSE3, WSE4, WSE5, WSE8.
