3450801 - Error: "HTTP response 401: Unauthorized" in Managed Gateway for Spend&Network

Symptom

When I send a Confirmation Request or an Invoice Detail Request from SAP Business Network to my SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA the transaction fails in Managed Gateway for Spend&Network with following error message:

org.apache.cxf.transport.http.HTTPException: HTTP response '401: Unauthorized' when communicating with https://ADDRESS_IS_SET_VIA.HEADER
