Once you copy and create a new/custom document type, you cannot delete/unlink the document type.

In the SSCUI - Define Document Types for Purchase Requisition/ Purchase order, you can copy existing standard entries to create new ones, allowing you to change the document type name and description.

However, once a new/custom document type is created, it cannot be deleted. When copying the document type initially, only the header line can be copied without the dependencies. Subsequently, in the sub-entities, you have the option to 'Create New' and add specific item categories and follow-on document types as needed.

Once custom configurations are entered, they cannot be deleted.
