Symptom

  • CI-DS datastore test connection fails with the following error:

"Cannot connect to SAP Applications datastore <> using host <>, client <>, user <>, and system number <01: CRFC error: RFC_COMMUNICATION_FAILURE- LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP)"

  • Telnet testing outputs the following error:

"Could not open connection to the host, on port <>: Connect failed"
