How to configure and use the new feature "Defaulting Sales area" for Dynamic Visit Planning Addon.

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • Dynamic Visit Planning Addon 

Resolution

  1. Go to Dynamic Visit Planning WC
  2. Go to Visit Administration View
  3. Go to Visit Planning Configuration
  4. You will notice two checkboxes with two different functionalities.

I. Select this checkbox to enable the default employee sales data in the advanced filters in cockpit. 

If you activate this checkbox, the advanced filter for Visit Recommendation will be predetermined according to the employee sales data of the user logged into the system.

Even with the checkbox checked, you can select the Sales Area in the Cockpit manually.

II. Select this checkbox to enable the default employee sales data for planning attributes. 

If you activate this checkbox, the "Planning Attributes" filter for the Cockpit will be based on the employee sales data of the user logged into the system.

Even with the checkbox checked, you can select the Sales Area in the Cockpit manually.

For example: You have main sales data maintained for your login user's employee. 
Sales Org: Sales Unit US..
Distribution Channel: Direct Sales
Division: Division 1

This information will be predetermined in the filters and planning attributes used in the Cockpit when these two checkboxes are checked.
