3451853 - Clicking 'Save' button in VF04 does not save the variant

Symptom

In VF04, when clicking on the "Save" button, a popup appears with the text "Do you want to process the billing due list?" instead of saving a data variant.

Pressing "Yes" in the popup initiates the billing document creation process directly.
