3451947 - Not able to select the GET method in the HTTP API step of the multi actions in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

In the API step of the multi action, the method is automatically selected as POST and cannot be changed.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

1. Create a multi action.
2. Add an API step.

It is by design. 

What the HTTP API step in the multi action does is to send a request to the target system (the system of the API) to trigger the API thus some actions will be triggered in the target system. So the HTTP API step only supports the POST method API.

If you would like to retrieve data or master data from the API and import into the SAC model, please try the Data Import Service API:
