Symptom
Scenario #1:
- In BI 4.3, User Notifications are not getting automatically displayed upon login in (Fiori) BI Launchpad, thus it does not catch the eye of the end user on most occasions.
- In BI 4.2, User Notifications does get automatically displayed upon login in Classic BI Launchpad .
- It is required that Business Users get to see the notification pop-up as soon as they login to BI Launchpad in BI 4.3
Scenario #2:
User Notifications which are already read do not get displayed again in BI Launchpad, thus the end users do not get reminded, in case of important alerts like system getting decommissioned in the near future, etc. For notifications which are more critical, like Servers being decommissioned after a certain date or Servers being unavailable for a certain period of time in the very near future due to scheduled maintenance or upgrade activities, such notifications should still be visible on user login page even when the same is already read, until the defined end date/time.
Scenario #3:
The schedule window (time difference between Start Date/Time and End Date/Time) is limited to 14 days. Attempting to save a User notification for a period longer than 14 days reflects the alert "Time difference between Start time and End time cannot be more than 14 days."
