3452142 - Proxy cannot be reached in SAP Cloud Connector

Symptom

  1. SCC displays the following error message:
    "Proxy cannot be reached. See ´Log And Trace Files´ and in particular ljs_trace.log for details."

  2. The SCC ljs_trace.log or scc_core.trc(2.17.0) reports:

    #ERROR#com.sap.scc.ui#https-jsse-nio2-44300-exec-4#          #Error when checking connectivity by sending HEAD request to <proxy name and port>--> org.apache.http.NoHttpResponseException: <proxy name and port> failed to respond
