Symptom

Pre-requisite: You're using Outlook Server Side Integration.

What is the expected behavior when an appointment is synced with a contact as an attendee which has same email address in more than one contact?

Environment

  • SAP Service Cloud v2
  • SAP Sales Cloud v2

Resolution

In case 2 or more contacts have same email address the oldest one will be chosen.

For example, if you sync an appointment with an attendee who has the same email address in more than one contact then the oldest contact is selected. The same scenario will work for the email synchronization.
